We’re proud to introduce our new series of fxphd Resolve V15 training, taught once again by colorist Warren Eagles. This is brand new training with new footage to go along with the course. The courses are:
- Resolve Fundamentals V15 , our introductory level course
- Advanced Resolve V15, for those who want to take their skills to the next level
We also have our popular Looks & Matching Masterclass , which lets you submit your grades so they may be critiqued by Warren.
This training is only available for purchase in the fxphd store and is not available as part of the fxphd membership.
This is the 11th season I’ve partnered with fxphd to produce Resolve online training. Resolve V15 Fundamentals will show you how to use the new version of the color correction and grading software from Blackmagic Design. This all-new course contains 12 classes covering the fundamentals you need to know to get most out of this new release. This course is ideal for people new to color correction, photographers, editors, DITs, DPs, VFX artists and directors.
The Advanced Resolve V15 course is completely new: not a v14 remake. I’ve dedicated 12 classes to the new features and dive into the new things I like, including a number of OFX plugins. Classes include grading drone footage, Warren’s top ten problems fixed, DaVinci YRGB Color Managed versus ACES, and so much more.
Once you make your purchase, all class materials are available for immediate download. What sets our courses apart is that each and every course comes with at least 5GB of high resolution, high quality clips which you can use to follow along with Warren, perfect your skills, and build shots for your reel. The advanced course even includes over 20GB of additional material you can use for your reel. This is unlike any other offering available online.
Warren has been grading for 28 years. He started in photography before moving into London’s film cutting rooms, settling into the role of Colorist. Warren has extensive experience in all forms of grading, from Super 8 music videos to feature films. A Resolve user since 2005, he is proficient in both the software and what can be achieved creatively with it. Warren has his own DaVinci Resolve system in Australia and spends his time either grading or teaching International Colorist Academy classes.
