Pixar makes me smile – what a great place – doing great work – it brings out the kid in all of us !

So we are on the road to Siggraph – Via San Fran. We were at ILM yesterday and Pixar today. (We also recorded a podcast last night at PXC head quarters – who have BTW brilliant cocktails after 5pm !)

We will be going to LA tonight and doing more interviews on Friday before harding down to Siggraph on Saturday morning. Of course we will be doing 2 shows a day for fxguidetv from Siggraph.

The guys at Pixar – Moxy in particular were so kind showing us around – allowing us to do some filming and taking us to the Luxo Jr. Cafe for Lunch. Pixar is a brilliant place to work, designed to allow creative people to be creative and really excel. We will be covering Pixar’s Renderman during the week – and discussing its workflow and its new advances.
