No doubt many fxphd members would have already seen Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla which has just released in cinemas. We were lucky enough to have Edwards teach a fxphd course – A Guerrilla Filmmakers Guide to After Effects – so, we’ve decided to once again to make available as a fast forward course to the general public. This is a repeat course that we have added to our many other vfx courses by request.

At the time of teaching this After Effects course, Edwards had just been part of making the BBC drama ‘Attila the Hun’. He went on to direct the indie film Monsters before helming Godzilla.

You can find out more about the 10 class course, which can be immediately downloaded, at the fxphd store. In it, Edwards breaks down shots, techniques, and workflow used in the actual production of ‘Atilla the Hun’.
