Here is a quicktime using mixed resolution projectors to achieve camera distortion. This is taken from the new SugarBabes film clip, “Shape of my Heart”. which was done by some members of our fxguide crew.

The important thing to note is that such things prior to 5.0 were possible but the image softened too much to make it a viable approach. Now with mixed res the source can be HD – as in this case and the output standard definition PAL.
