Selective color correction using the Color Warper

Having said that there are a few steps to remember so the goal here is to illustrate those and provide a quick reference.

Here is our original image

You have two choices to access the Color Warper, inside the Modular Keyer (and therefore inside action)

or using Batch (which could also feed a layer in action)

Either in Batch or Modular Keyer locate the Selective menu

also activate number 1(you can have up to 3 in each setup)

Switch the “Work On” popup to “Sel. 1”

and then select “Pick Custom”, the cursor will change to an eyedropper, scrub the eyedropper on the color you wish to modify (in this case the park bench)

If you switch to “CurResult” on the left and “selection” under View – you can see the color you have chosen isolated
Switching View to Matte will show you the same result in the form of a matte.

The color wheel can also be helpful in narrowing or widening your selection, you can view your selection or grab the diamond wireframe on the wheel and move it around.
