Refund Policy



Notification of withdrawal from a course must be received in writing within 14 days, in order to qualify for a refund (less postage, handling and administration costs).

Our commitment to you

fxphd has put in place systems to ensure that the trust our customers place in the company is warranted. It is with this in mind that we adhere to the highest ethical standards when gaining, using and storing your personal information.


Collection of your personal details /use

When you join our campus, we need to know your name, e-mail address, mailing address, credit card number and expiration date. This information allows us charge and formalise your entry into your chosen course.

fxphd does not sell or exchange personal information about its students. Access to information about fxphd students is restricted to fxphd and those who accept the payment on behalf of fxphd.

Email correspondence that you choose to send us is only used by our staff to answer your questions. We do compile an email list in order to administrate our business and communicate offers on merchandise and services that we believe will be of interest to our students. Your email address is not shared with any outside party. You may choose to be deleted from our mailing list at any time by contacting registrar@fxphd.com with please remove in the Subject Header.

fxphd limits access to student information to those employees who need it to carry out our business functions. Our faculty staffs are all educated on campus policies and practices in regard to safeguarding student information, preventing its unauthorised access, use of disclosure, and ensures its safe handling.

At any time you can update your information by logging into the fxphd student lounge and emailing the registrar - registrar@fxphd.com


How your information is protected

When you decide to join our campus, your tuition fees will be transmitted via our secure server. Our secure server uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software which allows us to receive information that your Web Browser encrypts and transmits to us. SSL encryption is designed to prevent the unauthorised viewing of your information whilst formalizing your tuition payment.

We all acknowledge that no data transmissions over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, we do our utmost to ensure the security of your information on our systems. We strive to protect your information, fxphd
cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information your transmit to us.

This website contains information, data, documents, movie files, training tutorials, pages and images prepared by the professors at fxphd.

Whilst the course material has been prepared with all due care, the Company does not warrant or represent that the material is free from errors or omissions or that it is exhaustive.

The fxphd online training school is intended for use only for lawful purposes. By enrolling as a student in our classes you agree that you have read, understand and agree to these terms and conditions.  You also agree to review this document periodically in order to be aware of modifications of the agreement.  Your continued enrollment at fxphd will be deemed your conclusive acceptance of any modified agreement.

fxphd warrants that their professional training courses, contain the content to allow students to learn skills required for a future within the vfx industry.

The courses are made available on the understanding that fxphd, its employees and agents shall have no liability including but not limited to liability by reason of negligence) to the students of the website for any loss, damage, cost or expense whether direct, indirect or consequential or special, incurred by, or arising by reason of, any person using or relying on the courses.  Students are responsible for making their own assessment of the course material and should verify all relevant representations, statements and information.  Changes will be made to the course material periodically as the professors make improvements/and updates.

fxphd online classes and the fxphd.com website are owned and operated by fxphd Pty. Ltd. All materials on this site are the property of fxphd.com unless otherwise specified.  Material and footage provided with a course may be used to create final composites which may be included in video demo reels to promote an individual artist to obtain employment. Other than this specific use, no materials from these pages or classes can be copied, reproduced, republished, downloaded, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed in any way other than use in a video demo reel promoting the fxphd member. For purposes of this agreement, the use of any such material in any other web site is prohibited.

Access to VPN versions of software is only to be used for personal, educational use.
Using the software for commercial purposes or generating income will result in your access to fxphd being immediately revoked without refund. We treat all violations of this rule very seriously. VPN access to software licenses is provided on an "as-is" basis - we try to provide as much support as possible, but do not guarantee your ability to run the software. Inability to utilize the VPN or license server does not violate this agreement provided fxphd makes a good faith effort to ensure access.
